Harper Associates handles many exclusive domestic staffing assignments for prominent executive families. Recent experience in luxurious private residences, along with outstanding references from previous employers are required for consideration.



Involves exciting travel for up to several weeks at a time.  The Nanny must be able to do overnights on a regular basis.  


Outstanding opportunity available for a professional, well-educated nanny who has experience working with adolescents and teenagers. We are seeking a very energetic and athletic Nanny who loves to encourage and motivate children in the areas of physical fitness (indoors and outdoors) and good health habits.


The Nanny will also need to inspire the children to complete homework, attend school, etc. This is a live-in position on the days you are working; you are able to live elsewhere on your days off. You will work hard on the days you are scheduled, however, you will be compensated with an extremely generous salary and benefit package, along with many days off.


A degree is required (teaching degree a plus), in addition to experience working with children 10 yrs.+ and older. Foreign language speaking skills are highly desirable. Only non-smokers will be considered. The ability and desire to travel with the family, for up to several weeks at a time, often without significant notice, is essential.     Outstanding full-time opportunity available for a seasoned and polished Personal Assistant who has previously supported an executive family in their private residence. The PA will be working directly for the principal’s wife and will coordinate her calendar, contacts, correspondences and events. Although the couple travels frequently to other residences, the PA will be based in the magnificent Manhattan home and must be accustomed to working for an employer who is not always in the same location as the PA. The schedule in the home office will typically be Monday-Friday daytime hours, however, the PA must be flexible to accommodate the couple’s needs on a 24/7 basis and be able to work varied hours especially when the couple is living in their Manhattan residence.


    Our client is seeking a very articulate and professional individual who is capable of multi-tasking and handling things confidentially and discreetly. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, managing a very busy social and philanthropic calendar, scheduling appointments, maintaining contacts, mailings and guest lists, purchasing gifts and cards, handling all written and phone correspondence, running errands, letter writing, concierge duties, travel arrangements when needed, organizing itineraries, party planning, providing assistance with smart phone and computer and other electronic devices, approving invoices, and acting as a liaison with household staff.


    Excellent computer skills are required. The PA must be a team player, able to work cooperatively with other private service personnel. Our client will only consider local candidates who have a successful track record as a Personal Assistant for at least ten years and will have accompanying references when requested. The ideal candidate speaks fluent Spanish or French. Only non-smokers will be considered.

Great full-time opportunity available for an experienced Chef to work in a beautiful, upscale home. Will involve planning, preparing and shopping for family meals and dinner parties. In addition, will be expected to maintain a clean kitchen, walk dog, run errands and handle other miscellaneous household duties. We are seeking a Chef who is creative, organized and flexible. Must enjoy and be able to work around a busy household with children.

Schedule is primarily Monday-Friday, with a few Saturdays and/or Sundays each month. Hours may vary somewhat but the Chef’s day will typically end after dinner clean-up ~9:30/10pm.

Culinary degree preferred along with appropriate references. Background check will be required.

$50,000-$60,000 plus benefits.
