Confidential search for Hospitality graduate with catering operations experience for busy catering facility that also handles off-premise events. Our client hosts extensive weddings, corporate events, and any other large banquet events. Candidates must have strong experience as a Banquet Captain or Event Manager in a hotel or high-volume catering operation to be considered.

FOOD SERVICE DIRECTOR - DETROIT AREA

Our client is seeking an experienced institutional Food Service Director to manage multiple sites. This individual will maintain systems and procedures for purchasing, receiving, menu planning, food preparation, sanitation and safety. Will also be involved in forecasting, accounting and coordinating staff scheduling. The Director will need to be sure that all activities are in compliance with various regulatory agencies.

The ideal candidate will have outstanding leadership and motivational skills, a strong background in high volume food production and significant experience in a unionized setting. Degree preferred, in addition to 5+ years of institutional food production experience. P&L experience needed.
