  • Director of Nursing – Skilled Nursing- Bloomfield Hills, Michigan

Our client, an established skilled nursing facility (100+ beds) with multiple services offered is seeking a Director of Nursing. The DON will be responsible for directing the nursing department including (e.g. monitoring MDS processes, develop/maintain nursing procedure manual, oversee multidisciplinary staff, assist with budget planning and daily rounds on unit to observe staff and residents.

 

Requirements:

  • Must have Director of Nursing experience (2-5 years) in a Skilled Nursing or Long Term Care facility.

  • An active, unencumbered Michigan Registered Nurse license is required.

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills

  • Must have a stable work history

  • Nurse Practitioner (4 day week) – Physician Practice - Grosse Pointe

  • LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE - SENIOR LIVING - CANTON AND STERLING HEIGHTS AREAS

Our client an upscale senior living community has an outstanding opportunity available for an LPN with experience working in (e.g. long term care, assisted living, nursing home) or has an interest in a career assisting the healthcare needs of our geriatric population. Responsibilities will include assisting with new resident assessments, care plans, medication management and support the Resident Care Manager with needs and concerns. Hours are Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm with occasional weekends. Must be open to traveling between facilities as needed. Shared on-call is required for emergent situations that arise.   • NURSE MANAGER - ASSISTED LIVING - ROCHESTER/STERLING HEIGHTS

Our client, an upscale senior living community, has an outstanding opportunity available for an experienced Nurse Manager who will work with the Executive Director to assure goals, objectives, and quality of service delivered to each resident of the Assisted Living and Memory care residence.

 

Requirements:

  • Active, unencumbered Michigan RN or LPN license.

  • Minimum 1 year experience in an Assisted Living resident working with the geriatric population.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.

  • Work a minimum of (40) hours a week with flexibility.

  • Must be available to respond during off duty hours to community issues and emergencies.

  • Must have excellent time management and organizational skills.

 

Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Resident care and service plan/programming.

  • Financial management of the nursing department.

  • Recruitment and hiring associates in the nursing department.

  • Supervising, ensure appropriate staff coverage, completion of daily assignments.

  • Training and In-service of associates with the assistance of the Director of Residence Care.

  • Monitor and work with the Food Director pertaining to any dietary needs/changes.

  • Quality Management/Assurance.

  • Responsible for monitoring Regulatory Compliance-Federal, State and Local.
