RESTAURANT GENERAL MANAGER - NORTHERN, MI

Our client owns a popular restaurant destination open year round, three meals/day. In addition to having a reputation for terrific service and great food, the establishment offers live music and entertainment. Like most profitable restaurants in Northern Michigan, one can expect a casual, relaxed atmosphere with a following of regular customers, both on and off season.

We are seeking an experienced General Manager with a strong culinary background who has handled all aspects of a busy, full-service restaurant. In addition to hiring, training and providing overall leadership, the GM will manage food and labor costs. Will also direct marketing, oversee safety, sanitation, organization, repair and maintenance. The GM needs to have worked in an environment with very high standards in terms of food quality and service. The ideal candidate will be a very high energy professional who considers guest satisfaction a top priority and sincerely enjoys customer interaction.

The restaurant is open year round but does have seasonal fluctuations.

Candidates with ties to Michigan and a desire to live in Northern Michigan strongly preferred.
