Administrative Assistant/Recruiting Assistant
Harper Associates, a long standing recruitment firm, is seeking
an extremely flexible individual to join its team. The
company is dedicated to the permanent placement of experienced
hospitality, healthcare, medical office, executive assistant and
private service/estate professionals. The Recruiting Assistant
will spend the majority of time working in conjuction with
another Recruiter in the healthcare/medical office areas, but
will also provide support to the hospitality division. The
ideal candidate is someone who can quickly and easily adapt to
constantly changing priorities within the overall office based
on our clients’ needs.
Advanced computer skills are essential, with proficiency in MS
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, ACT!,, Outlook and Access beneficial.
A college degree is required for success in this position.
Previous experience working in human resources, recruiting,
medical office, or hospital
setting would be a plus.
Responsibilities include but will not be limited to:
*Providing administrative support to the President and other
recruiters as needed
*Extensive phone and email correspondence with employers,
candidates and prospects
*Pre-screening and interviewing candidates
*Posting jobs on various job banks, websites, etc.
*Internet research and searches
*Maintaining databases
*Preparing and sending information to clients
*Coordinating and scheduling interviews between clients and
candidates
*Distributing marketing materials and mass mailings to potential
clients and candidates
*Conducting reference checks
*Facilitating testing for administrative candidates
Harper Associates is located in Farmington Hills, MI, near the
intersection of Northwestern Highway and Thirteen Mile Road. The
individual hired will be situated in a beautiful, private office
with a view. Salary is commensurate with experience.
Position will be 30-40 hours/week based on mutual agreement.

Executive and Personal Assistant to Chief Executive -
$70,000-$80,000 - Birmingham area
Previous
experience working in a very similar capacity for a high profile
Chairman, CEO, COO or President is required.
Our client, a
prominent Executive in the metro Detroit area, is seeking an
exceptionally talented, polished Executive Assistant with a
stellar background to handle personal and corporate business.
Diverse responsibilities will include, but not be limited to,
coordinating all details of the Executive’s demanding daily
schedule, which involves planning all meetings and family and
corporate events, both on and off site. In addition, the
Executive Assistant will manage extensive global travel and must
have prior experience with intricate domestic and international
travel planning utilizing both commercial and private
aircrafts. Will also arrange reservations at prestigious
hotels, restaurants and theatres around the world. The
Executive Assistant will communicate and serve as a liaison with
many other individuals, including many top Executives.
Must be an
extremely flexible and detail-oriented professional willing to
provide 24/7 support to the Principal and their spouse.
Outstanding computer and communication skills along with a very
professional demeanor are absolutely essential for success in
this role. Must have prior working knowledge of using a
Blackberry.

Personal Assistant - Bloomfield
Hills - $50,000-$65,000 plus benefits
Terrific opportunity available for a Personal Assistant who
is comfortable working with a high profile Executive family.
This position is based in the Principal’s home, however, it
requires extensive experience supporting a top Executive in a
Corporate office, handling primarily personal matters for at
least two years. The Personal Assistant will manage a wide
variety of responsibilities which will include, but not be
limited to:

Maintaining
calendars and schedules for employer and family

Detailed
research, including internet, in a wide variety of areas

Extensive
travel planning (both business and personal) involving
complex itineraries. This includes personal aviation and
commercial.

Creating
office procedures and maintaining databases

Keeping
records of insurance and inventories for home and other
possessions

Handling
correspondence (i.e. letters, phone calls, emails, RSVPs)

Helping
coordinate first class entertainment for the family

Assisting

We are seeking an articulate individual with excellent
decision making abilities. The selected candidate must have the
capacity to work well under pressure and to maintain strict
confidentiality. The Personal Assistant will hopefully develop
the foresight to anticipate the employer’s needs. Excellent
computer skills, using an Apple computer and an iPhone are
essential, along with the ability to handle basic
troubleshooting.
Hours are 9am-6pm, however, at times, longer hours will be
required.
Occasional travel to vacation homes may be required.
