RESTAURANT GENERAL MANAGER - BIRMINGHAM, MI

Oversees daily operations of popular, upscale, boutique Birmingham, MI area restaurant with $2M+ in sales

  • Ensure the venue runs according to established operating policies and procedures
  • Manage the restaurant cost-effectively and efficiently
  • Prepare, present, share, and discuss daily reports to leadership team
  • Develop floor plans, conduct pre-shifts, communicate to chef’s/staff about operational details
  • Oversee restaurant administrative duties
  • Create a work environment that promotes teamwork, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction.
  • Conduct menu engineering, sales analysis on a regular basis and recommend areas to minimize costs and maximize revenue
  • Correct any deviations from service procedures swiftly through on the job training, one on one’s, and testing.
  • Perform daily briefings and disseminate company information to the restaurant management team, while listening and noting feedback to improve in the operation.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships/rapport with all (internal/external) guests, focusing efforts to exceed guest expectations at every opportunity
  • Populate nightly reports and record daily details of operation for upper management team to review
  • Assist and perform duties assigned by the Executive Chef and Director or Operations

Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000 based on experience plus bonus

EXECUTIVE CHEF - DETROIT, MI

Creative Menu, Unique Concept

 We are searching for a very experienced Executive Chef with high-volume experience in an upscale, scratch kitchen. Will oversee culinary operations and handle menu development, come up with creative, modern techniques on classic dishes, and collaborate with the front of house managers to pair entrees with complementary beverages. Must be highly skilled in managing a very busy kitchen, and have proven success at leading a team of culinary professionals.

 Ideal candidates will have:

  • • Culinary Degree from CIA, Schoolcraft, Johnson & Wales, or similar level culinary school
  • • High-volume, scratch Kitchen Manager, Sous Chef, or Executive Chef experience
  • • Expertise in ordering, inventory management, labor management, and scheduling
  • • Experience in menu development and menu costing
  • • Experience creating and managing the back of house budget
  • • ServSafe Certification

RESTAURANT MANAGER - GRAND RAPIDS, MI

 We are looking for a Restaurant Manager to lead a highly acclaimed restaurant in Western Michigan. We need a rising star candidate who has previous restaurant experience in a leadership role (supervisor or manager). Those with experience with craft beer, wine, and craft cocktails are highly preferred. A Manager who enjoys a very busy atmosphere and leading a team would be an ideal fit.

 Ideal candidates will have:

  •  Hospitality Degree
  •  1-2 years of Restaurant Manager or Restaurant Supervisor experience
  •  Experience in ordering, inventory management, labor management, and scheduling
  •  Exceptional training skills
  •  Good craft beer, wine, and craft cocktail knowledge
  •  Excellent customer service skills
  •  Any additional certifications are a plus (e.g. Sommelier, Cicerone, BarSmarts, etc.)
  •  Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred

 Benefits:

  •  Base salary range of $40K-$50K, depending on experience
  •  5 day, 50 hour work week, Tuesday-Saturday schedule
