Ross Hospitality is expanding quickly, with their fourth concept opening this year and additional projects already in development. We are searching for a highly experienced, top-tier operator with a strong leadership track record. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Meeting financial metrics set by owners and/or leadership including but not limited to revenue targets, cost of goods sold %’s (wine, liquor, beer, food, etc.), labor costs, and budgeted operational expenses.
- Identifying and implementing revenue generating, cost savings and operational efficiency opportunities.
- Ensuring NOMAD is operation ready during all standard hours of operation while implementing and enforcing established service standards and procedures.
- Manage the dining room/patio, including setting up and breaking down tables, ensuring cleanliness and order, maintaining an organized work environment, and resolving guest complaints.
- Oversee the bar, including ordering and maintaining inventory (wine/liquor/beer/etc.), making certain that drinks are served accurately and promptly.
- Ordering of all disposable and approved misc. items needed for daily operation of the restaurant.
- Development and training of all front-of- house staff, including, but not limited, to ambassadors, support, bartenders, and hosts/hostesses.
- Work closely with Chef and direct kitchen operations in their absence.
- Coordinate staff availability and prepare weekly FOH/BOH schedules to ensure the restaurant is adequately staffed for each shift.
- Schedule, screen and perform initial round of interviews for hiring needs.
- Onboarding of new hires confirming all pertinent payroll information is obtained and provided to Company Controller/Payroll Admin in a timely manner.
- Perform and/or oversee opening and closing procedures, including nightly close out and cash deposits.
- Support in preparation and execution for all major holiday weekends and events including but not limited to, restaurant buy-outs, Dart for Art, rehearsal dinners/parties etc.

We’re seeking an experienced Event Manager / Banquet Manager / Catering Manager to oversee the execution of large-scale events, conferences, weddings, and corporate functions across the Kellogg Hotel & Center and Michigan State University venues, including Breslin Center and Munn Ice Arena.
This is a hands-on hospitality leadership role for someone who thrives in fast-paced food & beverage operations and delivers exceptional guest experience in high-volume event environments. Bonus for Spartan athletics fans who would like to be totally immersed in the MSU sports atmosphere!
What You’ll Do
- Lead event execution for banquets, catering services, conferences, weddings, and social events
- Coordinate event logistics, including room setup, vendor management, audiovisual coordination, and service timing
- Partner with culinary and food & beverage operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery and high-quality presentation
- Oversee banquet operations, staffing, and labor scheduling for efficient event execution
- Manage event budgets, forecasting, inventory, and cost control to support revenue and operational goals
- Ensure accurate event billing, reporting, and financial reconciliation
- Hire, train, and supervise banquet staff, servers, and setup teams, supporting ongoing performance management and development
- Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations, ensuring a safe and professional environment
- Act as on-site leader for event coordination, troubleshooting, and real-time problem solving
What You Bring
- 1–3+ years of experience in banquet operations, catering services, or event management
- Background in hospitality management, hotel operations, or upscale catering environments
- Strong leadership experience managing teams in high-volume, customer-facing operations
- Knowledge of food safety, beverage service standards, and hospitality compliance
- Proven ability in event coordination, vendor management, and guest service delivery
- Strong communication, organizational, and guest experience management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3–5+ years in hotel banquet or catering management
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and revenue management
- Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) or similar hospitality certification
- Chauffer’s license for driving catering trucks (must be willing to obtain if you don't already have it)
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $56,000 - $70,000 (based on experience)

ARTISAN BREAD PRODUCTION MANAGER - METRO DETROIT, MI AREA

We're an artisan bakery known for traditional methods, locally sourced ingredients, and baked goods that stop people in their tracks. As we grow, we're looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead our afternoon bread production team and keep the magic running smoothly — every single day.
What You'll Do:
- Lead all bread production hands-on — mixing, bench shaping, proofing, baking, and managing all dough starters in a lead-by-example style
- Build and manage production schedules based on sales forecasts for both in-house and wholesale demand, with an eye on labor savings
- Own end-to-end quality control: maintain and exceed labor and food cost targets, uphold all bread product standards
- Lead training for all bread team members; assist in hiring and developing bread and packaging staff
- Maintain and update the department recipe book and food cost models
- Manage ingredient inventory — appropriate levels, freshness, product use dates, and organization
- Collaborate with the GM to maintain morale and teamwork; consult with the Sales Team on new product development
- Establish and rework process controls in both bread production and packaging
